Quite fun action combat, but due to amounts of orcs you slay, it gets tiresome after a while. Without it, this would be one of the worst games in last decade. Pros: - Nemesis system - I must say it's only engaging part of the game. There is barely anything standing out with this game so there is no need to in deep so I will make it short with pros and cons only. For me it was dullest game if played this year so far (wish I had will to write reviews for all of them to give a better contrast). For me it was dullest game if played this year so far (wish I had will to write reviews for all of I don't know what people see in this game. I don't know what people see in this game. Despite that, absolutely powerful story! Love it and I'm almost compelled to play though it again. It's the same stuff over and over again and everyone is saying just go on youtube and watch the ending (BUT ONLY DO THIS ONCE YOU'VE HIT ACT 4 aka SHADOW WARS). all your collectables, but don't waste your time after you've hit ACT 4. I've 100%'d everything except the siege missions which are all part of this endgame (ACT 4). One thing I would really change: The mini-cutscene you encouter when facing off against a captian. Right now I'm trying to 100% the game but I am also growing impatient and may just finish the story and be done with it. Despite getting the Gold Edition, I don't know if I see myself playing this when I've completed the game.

I would recommend waiting for a sale but still taking the time to finish it.

For those who are not die hard fans of the game, or LOTR in general, it's hard to really find a way to convince you to pay full price for it.

Some parts feel like a hack and slash, similar to For Honored but combat is still a lot like Batman. Think of this game like an Assassin's Creed (size of map, NPC's walking around, repetitive objectives) mixed with Batman combat (multistreak, skill tree, counter and strike) all in a LOTR setting. It's very similar to the first (think of it as going from one Assassin's Creed title to another, there's very little difference but some stuff have been added and/or changed). Whether it's worth paying full price for, that's up to you. Whether it's worth paying Despite all the negative comments, I would still make a case for this game and tell you it's a great game to play. but it doesnt make the game bad in my experience … Expandĭespite all the negative comments, I would still make a case for this game and tell you it's a great game to play. Overall very pleased except for the act IV of story and the fact that this could have been earn silver to play game rather than pay to get gold game. Love the nemesis system for replaying value. Some orcs sound hilariously funny and some sound like an a%^&hole.

Voice acting is awesome by almost everyone. Yes the story is not as perfect but its still got great moments. I absolutely love every small aspect of the game. Also dont buy gears coz u can find them from strong orcs after u beat them. it took me like 9 hours to earn enough silver to purchase an orc army of 10 epics and 8 legendaries and 5 commons. u can learn about the items in modor and also solve poems and riddles which adds depth to the game. u can learn about the items in modor 1500 silvers for lootbox containing atleast an epic orc is easy to grind. 1500 silvers for lootbox containing atleast an epic orc is easy to grind.
